Saint Paul’s Catholic Church is located in Vienna, Johnson County, Illinois.
Our church overlooks Illinois State Route 146 on the east edge of Vienna, a gateway point for the Shawnee National Forest. Whether you are exploring our faith or looking for a place to attend Mass while traveling, our church is easy to get to, and we welcome you. We hope these directions help you find us!
From Belleville/Saint Louis/East St.Louis/Northwest:
Take I-64 East to I-57 South at Mount Vernon. Continue through Benton and Marion, take I-24 East at Exit 44. Drive 16 miles to Exit 16. Turn left on IL 146, go 9/10ths of a mile, the church will be on the right.
Notice: As of April 5, 2023 Exit 16 is closed to all traffic. As alternate, use Exit 14, go to Rte 146 in Vienna, turn left (East) and go 2.5 miles to St Paul Church.
From Nashville/Clarksville/South/East:
Take I-24 West to Exit 16 in Illinois. Turn right on IL 146, go 7/10ths of a mile, the church will be on the right.
From Chicago/North:
Take I-57 South to I-24 East at Exit 44. Drive 16 miles to Exit 16. Turn left on IL 146, go 9/10ths of a mile, the church will be on the right.
From Memphis/Southwest:
Take I-55 North to I-57 North at Exit 66-A (near Sikeston, MO). Travel to the IL 146 Exit in Illinois (Anna/Vienna). Turn right. The church will be on the right in 16.1 miles, after passing through Vienna and under I-24.
From Evansville/Golconda/East:
Take IL 146. The church will be on the left, 4.9 miles past the Shawnee Correctional Center.
